Vagus Speech Pathology Fee Schedule:
Initial Assessment - $320 – includes report
Short therapy session/review - $100 (30 minutes) – swallow/voice review
Long therapy session/review - $130 (45 minutes) – voice/swallow therapy
Extended therapy session/review - $170 (60 minutes)
Call out service to Aged Care Facility: $170 per hour + travel cost
Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Study $480 procedure + report (+ Imaging/administration fees TBA)
Travel cost/distance:
0-15 minutes - $50
16-30 minutes - $90
31-45 minutes- $120
Private Health:
Contact your provider regarding coverage amount
Medicare:
May be eligible for up to 5 rebated sessions (approx. $52.95) per calendar year
You may be able to claim Medicare rebates for allied health services if you have a chronic (or terminal) medical condition that is being managed by your GP under both of these Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) items: a GPMP and TCAs. The need for allied health services must be directly related to your chronic condition.
